Child therapy is essential, although many still believe that signs of emotional distress in children should be ignored. From as early as 3 years old, children may already show signs of stress such as anxiety, excessive fears, low mood, or aggression when faced with situations they cannot control. Paying attention to these signals is crucial for their healthy development.
Therapeutic work with children takes place in a gentle and age-appropriate setting. The therapy room is equipped with adapted toys—such as wooden cars, dollhouses, blocks, board games, legos, and storybooks that reflect the child’s world. We also use expressive tools such as drawing, adapted tests, arts and crafts materials, and creative activities that help children communicate their inner world.
This playful and welcoming environment inspires trust, openness, and comfort. Within this atmosphere, the therapist listens, plays, and offers space for the child to express themselves freely, calmly, and at their own pace.
Usualy, it takes place one time per week, but, according to the child's needs it can be more.
